Questions brides ask

Can I order a Taffy bridal from outside Pakistan?

Yes. Saadia takes video consultations by appointment, works from your measurements, and ships your outfit from Karachi by international courier. Brides abroad explains duties and timing for the UK, the USA, Canada and the UAE.

How much does a Taffy bridal cost?

Every piece is designed for you, so the price depends on the design, the fabric and how much hand-work it needs. Saadia sends an itemised quote after your consultation, before anything is made.

How long does a bespoke bridal take?

Hand embroidery takes time. Saadia confirms your timeline and delivery date in writing before work begins. Get in touch as early as you can.

How early should I book?

As soon as you know your dates. Five to six months before your first function is comfortable, especially if your outfit is being shipped abroad.

Can I change the colour or design of a piece I see here?

Yes. Every outfit in the lookbook is a starting point. Colours, embroidery, sleeves and silhouettes are adapted to you.

Do you make outfits for every function?

Yes: nikkah, mehndi and dholki, baraat and walima, and outfits for the bride's family.

What hand-work does Taffy use?

Gota patti, zardozi and resham embroidery, worked by hand in Karachi.

Can I visit in Karachi?

Book a consultation and Saadia will arrange how to meet, by video call or in Karachi.

Will I pay import duty?

Usually, yes. Duty and tax are set by your country and paid to the courier before delivery. Brides abroad lists typical rates for the UK, the USA, Canada and the UAE.
